Level 3 Quran Studies - 3 April, 2016

Asalamoalikum wrmt, We learnt Surah Al-Falaq this week with word meanings and story behind it. All students are asked to do research and write a short story about this surah, and read it every day with proper makharij. We also looked at Qalqala letters( Qaaf, Tua, Ba, Jeem, Daal) and a little revision from previous lessons of Shadda.

Level 3 - Islamic Studies – Salah: A Special Gift from Allah (SWT)

Student in 3 in Islamic Studies learned about Salah, which is obligatory for every Muslim. How many times Muslim pray in a day and what are those name and when they are prayed (time). Salah is a spacial gift for every Muslim. Sujud was shown in practical as it is the best position of the special gift in whole Salah. Please parents take your children when you pray, which will become part of their life. Homework is attached, please help the students to finish it and bring it back on 3/04/2016.   3 LESSON 5.1_2016

Level 1- Islamic Studies Week 7 (20/03/16)

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr, Alhamdulillah, after a quick revision of our previous lessons, we beagn discussing about our topic for today, which was “Subhanallah”. The children identified some of the beautiful things they see, including themselves, as creations of Allah (SWT). They understood that the creator of all these things has to be praised and glorified for His greatness and power. They were introduced to the Arabic word “Subhanallah” with it’s meaning “Glory be to Allah!” and that this is mentioned as a way of glorifying the creator, Allah (SWT), whenever they would see these beautiful creations of the Almighty. A colouring in worksheet will be in their pocket folder for their homework. Wasalam.

Level 2 Islamic Studies – What Muslim Say

What Muslim Say – basic Please open the top page, this page was given to each student. If they do not have it please print it out. Level 2 in Islamic Studies students were studying all the basic word what Muslim should say in their daily life. All these word were taught elaborately in the classes. Please practice these words in the family and remind each other, as these word gives reward (baraka) in our daily life.

Quran Studies Homework Level 3, 6 March, 2016

Asalamoalikum wrmt, This term homework completed by most students. In Sha Allah those who have not completed their homework need to bring it back next week. We hope to see all parents next Sunday (13 March) at the Parent-Teacher Interview. For students homework: practice word meaning of Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah AN-Nas and little reading of translation. Levels 4/5B A2 Arabic Writing Exercise

Dear Level 4/5 Boys Group A2 Parents, Could you please find attached the Arabic Writing Exercise file for Level 4/5 boys in group A2. The aim of this exercise is to focus on writing skills and also introducing some simple words and statements. We walked through the same exercise during the class where each student had a letter. I would like to request dear parents to assist their boys to walk through the exercises (5 letters to practice), complete and bring them back on Sunday 20/3. Level 2, Islamic Studies 2 – Belief in Allah's Messengers

Children are learning to say Bismillah “In the name of Allah, and Alhamdulillah “Praise to Allah”. They are learning when and where to say these words and putting emphasis on these words on their life. They were asked to give some examples from their daily life. They were very keen to learn these words as I told them the reward they are going to acquire. Some messengers name was also being introduce and homework page was given to them which is attached. Level 3 – Islamic Studies – Allah is the Rabb al – Alamin

Student in 3 in Islamic Studies learned words”Rabbul al alameen mean = the lord or King of the world which we can see and what we can’t see.” They also learned .It means that Allah (Rabb) of the whole nature or whole universe (alameen). It also means  that in this universe or nature there is just only one God (Allah) no other God than Allah. Level 1 - Islamic Studies Week 6 (06/03/16)

The focus of today’s topic was “Bismillah & Alhamdulillah”. The children learnt and identified the different times one should say these words through a song and an interactive worksheet was done in class. The meaning of these two Arabic words were also taught, Bismillah (in the name of Allah) and Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah). A hadith on saying Bismillah was also discussed and homework colouring worksheets handed out. NOTE: Alhamdulillah, the children are more regular in remembering to bring in their homework and folders.
