Term 2 begins Sun, 5 May

Assalamu Alaikum wr wb Term 2 Classes will begin on Sun, 5 May, InshaAllah. Dear Parent/Guardians, Staff & Volunteers, I hope you have had a restful and productive holiday and are ready for Term 2! And welcome to the new families joining us in Term 2. Unfortunately, classes have to be cancelled this Sunday, 28 April because many teachers are away and not enough relief teachers could be secured.

Report absences to teachers

Absences Please inform student absences to their teachers.  If students are absent without notice for more than 3 lessons a term, they will be invited to give up their spot to students on the CIS Waiting List.

Timeliness

It is very important that students arrive at school on time.  It is CIS policy that students who are more than 5 minutes late wait out the rest of the lesson in the Masjid until the next lesson - the area near the Admin area is designated for this. Lateness causes a lot of disruption to learning and teaching.

Phones and electronic devices - not to be used at school

Phones and electronic devices - not to be used at school Upon much consideration, it has been decided that it is best for CIS to follow standards set at full-time school and not allow the use of phones and devices during school time. It has been noted that some students are not doing the right thing when it comes to the use of phones and electronic devices at school.  It is disruptive for the class and disrespectful to the teacher to use devices during class time.
