Level 1 Arabic Lesson & Homework

In class we also revised
the Taudh:
“I seek the protection of Allah from the cursed shaitan”
and Tasmiya:
“In the Name of Allah, most Merciful, most Kind”
Manners to enter the class (ASALAMOALIKUM WRMT WBRK, WALAIKUM ASALAM WRMT WBRKT) and
Arabic alphabet: Alif to Yah,
We did some games holding alphabet cards and placing them in right order so kids get familiar with the letters and their proper makharij (the articulation points) for those alphabets. We also practiced heavy and light letters (see pictures below) and the words we bite our tongue including the throatal letters.
It might feel a bit too much at time but we will be working on it rest of the term InshaAllah
Some suggestion for parents and kids to practice at home are mentioned below, the first 3 are Apps that can be downloaded onto you Android or iPhone
